Chung/Herman is dedicated to the conceptual and spatial
understanding of the natural and artificial landscapes
of urban life. We believe each project is unique to the site,
climate, program, context, users, neighbors, noise, ambitions,
attitude, dust mitigation, wildlife, and history. We bring a
distinct set of interests to our projects, including (but not
limited to): subject and object, structure and infrastructure,
narrative and decoration, plan and façade, glass and stucco,
thickness and layering, interior and exterior, the sublime
and the mundane, kitchens and bathrooms, day and night.
